Engineering Manager (.Net)
Experian is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Manager to lead our cloud modernization efforts within the Credit & Verification Services team. This role involves guiding a high-performance engineering team in developing and maintaining cloud-native microservices and web applications using the latest technologies and architectural patterns. The position is based in the United Kingdom and reports to the Director of Engineering in Hyderabad.
As an Engineering Manager, you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of our software systems. Your responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional team members, leading technical discussions, managing technical risks, and mentoring both senior and junior developers. Additionally, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into clean, scalable code and overseeing the creation and review of high-level and low-level design documents.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading software development teams and hands-on expertise for building scalable, maintainable, and performant REST APIs within microservices architectures. Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, and Lambda is essential. Candidates should also be skilled in writing high-quality unit and integration tests using xUnit or nUnit, with experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL or NoSQL databases, and CI/CD practices is required.
