In the Rewards Tribe at Awin, we develop core capabilities that enable advertisers to define how they reward publishers and manage transactions at scale. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead an existing team and evolve it into two high-performing teams, supporting a strategic product roadmap while modernizing our platform and technology stack.

As an Engineering Manager, your primary focus will be on people, delivery, and impact. You will lead and grow a team of 9-10 engineers across Germany, Romania, and other engineering hubs. Your responsibilities include coaching and mentoring engineers, fostering strong feedback loops, creating a safe and empowering environment, partnering with Product Management to define team goals, owning delivery commitments, collaborating with other tribes and enabling teams, supporting hiring and onboarding, and representing your team toward stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role. Experience in building and scaling teams in distributed environments, a strong coaching mindset, and confidence operating in a financial or payments domain are essential. A solid technical foundation to understand and discuss architecture and system design, guide teams on testing and engineering best practices, and consider long-term technical strategy is required. A data-informed approach to decision-making and a proactive mindset toward AI and emerging technologies are also valued.
