Software Engineer (f/m/d)
As a Software Engineer at Awin, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional, service-oriented team dedicated to enhancing and maintaining our Affiliate Marketing platform. Your role involves designing and building reliable services by writing clean, secure, and well-tested code, adhering to modern engineering best practices. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to system efficiency, technical quality, and team effectiveness within an agile environment.
Your primary responsibilities include taking ownership of assigned features or components, contributing to software design, implementation, and operation with guidance from senior engineers. You will identify improvement opportunities and technical risks, translating business requirements into well-designed technical solutions. Collaborating closely with other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, you will also troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure service reliability and operational stability.
To be successful in this role, you should have over three years of professional software engineering experience, a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, and experience with one or more programming languages. Familiarity with building Node.js services using JavaScript or TypeScript is beneficial. A focus on writing clean, maintainable code with a good understanding of SOLID principles is essential. Hands-on experience with AWS-based systems, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures is also required. Additionally, a commitment to engineering quality through code reviews and testing, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and a good understanding of relational and non-relational databases are important.
