Awin is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our AI Platform Team, focusing on developing and maintaining shared platform capabilities that enable teams to build, deploy, and operate AI-powered products efficiently and securely. This role involves designing reusable services, internal APIs, SDKs, and establishing best practices to facilitate the transition from experimentation to production across the organization.

The Senior AI Engineer will be responsible for designing and evolving shared AI platform capabilities, defining and improving platform architecture, and building reusable internal APIs and SDKs. Key tasks include enhancing the reliability and scalability of platform services, strengthening CI/CD and release engineering practices, and improving observability through better monitoring and debugging tools. Collaboration with product teams to understand their needs and translating them into reusable platform solutions is essential.

Candidates should have strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in backend and platform engineering, system design, and architecture, particularly for shared services or internal platforms. Practical experience with cloud environments, modern release engineering practices, and building or contributing to AI- or LLM-powered systems in production is required. Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with a good understanding of LLM integration patterns and the engineering trade-offs involved in AI systems, is also necessary.

Awin offers a flexible four-day workweek at full pay, various paid special leaves, and a monthly remote working allowance. Additional benefits include support for remote workspace setup, meal vouchers, health and wellbeing insurance covering treatments for employees and one additional family member, and eligibility for a remote working furniture package after three months of employment.
