The Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Canonical plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring their successful adoption and satisfaction with Canonical's open-source products and services. Operating within a globally distributed team, this position is integral to Canonical's mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving the growth of its enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities include onboarding new customers, introducing them to Canonical's diverse product portfolio—such as Ubuntu Pro, MAAS, Landscape, OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, and various data applications—and guiding them through support processes. The role involves coordinating complex projects with developers, IT managers, and decision-makers across various industries, collaborating with Sales, Field Engineering, and Support teams to develop and execute engagement plans that align with customer objectives. Managing a portfolio of customers within a specific geographic region, the manager identifies growth opportunities and addresses renewal risks in coordination with the Sales team.

Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience in IT-related roles, with exposure to areas such as Linux OS, data applications, storage, cloud computing, networking, security, migration, or IoT. Excellent presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to navigate complex software discussions. Experience in building and refining internal processes while ensuring timely project delivery is highly valued. A collaborative mindset is crucial, as the role requires effective interaction with various departments and stakeholders. Proficiency in agile methodologies is also desirable.
