Enterprise Risk Analyst

Modulr is seeking a Risk Analyst to join its Second Line Risk team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This role is integral to maintaining the company's robust risk management culture across Europe. Modulr is a rapidly growing payments business, offering innovative digital payment services designed to enhance business productivity.

The Risk Analyst will support the daily operations of the risk management framework, embedding risk awareness within first-line teams. Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks, ensuring effective mitigation plans, analyzing incident data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, participating in risk governance forums, tracking risk remediation actions, and preparing comprehensive risk reports to inform decision-making.

Candidates should have over three years of experience in risk management or internal control within a regulated financial services or fintech environment. A solid understanding of risk management principles, particularly concerning operational, technology, or regulatory risks, is essential. Experience in payments, e-money, or financial infrastructure is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and clear communication abilities are required. Proficiency in English is necessary, with Dutch language skills considered a plus.
