Enterprise Risk Management Lead

Gusto is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management Lead to oversee and enhance our AI-driven risk functions within a complex, multi-entity business operating in highly regulated environments. This role involves managing Gusto's Enterprise Risk and Third-Party Risk Management programs, ensuring they are scalable and enable the business to move swiftly without compromising compliance.

The Enterprise Risk Management Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-enabled risk monitoring, control testing, incident management, and reporting systems. This includes integrating AI and automation into vendor assessments, continuous monitoring, risk scoring, and trend analysis. The role also involves building intelligent dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time risk visibility to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Candidates should have extensive experience in regulatory compliance within highly regulated industries such as payroll, tax, insurance, insurtech, fintech, or financial services. A strong background in developing and implementing enterprise risk management frameworks and compliance programs is essential. Additionally, expertise in AI, machine learning, process automation, and advanced analytics is required to drive innovation and efficiency in risk operations.
