Entry Level Criminal Defense Attorney

The United Firm, A.P.C. is seeking an Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney to join their Dallas, Texas office. This role offers a promising opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience in criminal defense within a premier law firm known for its growth and development. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and will collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

In this position, the attorney will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in pretrial hearings. Additional duties include managing court appearances, trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting legal research. The attorney will also analyze case outcomes using legal precedents, manage a caseload, and gather evidence to support clients' cases or challenge prosecution charges.

Candidates should have a strong interest in criminal defense law and a desire to handle complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels. Applicants must be admitted to the Texas State Bar. Preferred qualifications include bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

The United Firm offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
