The Sony Music Entertainment Brazil team is seeking a Catalog Strategies Intern to join the Growth & Performance department. This team is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the performance of Sony Music and Som Livre's catalog on digital platforms, focusing on consumption growth, revenue, market share, and presence in charts and playlists. The intern will collaborate with various departments, including BI, Marketing, A&R, Planning, Label, Legal, and Finance, utilizing data to guide strategic decisions and projects such as optimizations, digitization, re-releases, and new formats.
Key responsibilities include updating and maintaining databases used in dashboards and performance reports, monitoring consumption indicators, charts, and playlists, and supporting the analysis of streaming data, revenue, and key performance indicators. The intern will also track the performance of viral tracks, extract data from internal and external platforms to support analyses and decision-making, organize controls and databases, prepare analytical materials for meetings and internal reports, and contribute to catalog projects from a data and performance perspective.
Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, Marketing, Communication, or related fields. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets at an intermediate level and basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI are required. Applicants should have an understanding of data visualization and information organization, strong analytical skills, and be organized. Good oral and written communication skills, curiosity, a desire to learn, and an interest in the music market are essential. Intermediate English proficiency is necessary for reading materials and potential interaction with global teams.
