Field Operations Trainer
May Mobility is seeking a Field Operations Trainer to deliver hands-on, in-vehicle training to Autonomous Vehicle Operators and Test Drivers across various site operations. This role involves extensive travel and direct engagement with site teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of May Mobility's autonomous vehicle services.
Key responsibilities include becoming an expert in operating May vehicles, delivering standardized training programs that encompass both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel sessions, conducting evaluations and safety certifications for new operators, and providing ongoing coaching to reinforce safe operating procedures and customer service excellence. The trainer will also document trainee progress and field observations, reporting back to the Field Operations Training Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with team members at all organizational levels. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three years is required. Proficiency with digital tools such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and mobile apps is essential. Prior experience in training, coaching, or mentoring, as well as exposure to autonomous vehicles or related technologies, is desirable.
