Field Services Technician
Verra Mobility is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring our advanced road safety systems, including fixed and mobile speed cameras, across the Greater Melbourne region. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to enhancing community safety through the effective operation of our technology solutions.
Key responsibilities include installing, commissioning, and performing both preventative and remedial maintenance on roadside safety technology. You will support a wide range of technical IT solutions, resolving complex issues in the field, and will be involved in configuring and troubleshooting hardware components and software. Maintaining accurate records and documentation to meet compliance standards is also a critical part of this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex hardware and software systems in the field. A strong understanding of network configuration (LAN/WAN), cabling, and equipment installations is essential. While not mandatory, accreditation in Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform, as well as a Construction Safety Card, are preferred. A full, unrestricted, valid Australian Driver’s Licence is required.
