Finance Manager - Ceremony of Roses

The Finance Manager at Ceremony of Roses is responsible for managing the full set of accounts, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc financial reports as required by headquarters and the regional office. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards while providing meaningful financial insights to support business decisions. It is a highly hands-on position, requiring direct involvement in day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations.

Key responsibilities include performing end-to-end accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, stock reconciliation, and monthly or annual closing. The Finance Manager will develop cash flow forecasts, manage working capital, and ensure accurate GST/VAT/Corporate Income Tax reporting. Additionally, the role involves preparing performance reports with variance analysis, overseeing annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, and reconciling sales across multiple e-commerce channels.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial accounting, with solid hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable. A degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline is required. Proficiency in finance packages, Microsoft Excel, and relational databases is essential, along with experience using BPC, SAP, or other accounting software. Fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin, both verbal and written, is necessary. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are also important.
