Financial Analyst
Eqvilent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is pivotal in supporting our financial operations by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. As a remote position, it offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a diverse and international team.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with Accounting, Reporting, Tax, and Financial Controllers to support the monthly management reporting process. This includes cleansing, validating, and consolidating data from various sources such as ERP systems and procurement platforms. The role also involves monitoring the procure-to-pay process for assigned entities, tracking requests and payments, resolving issues, and ensuring complete audit and tax documentation through rigorous compliance checks. Additionally, the analyst will maintain financial data integrity across complex Google Sheets models and create high-quality reports and presentations for leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in finance with a deep understanding of core financial statements under IFRS. Experience working with ERP systems is essential, and familiarity with procurement software is advantageous. Exceptional attention to detail is required to drive the accounts payable process with high accuracy. Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets are necessary to manage complex tables and models, including large datasets. Proficiency in PowerPoint is also important for creating executive-level presentations. A proactive mindset with an interest in improving and streamlining finance processes, along with outstanding communication skills and fluency in English, are key attributes for success in this role.
