Financial Systems Administrator
Metropolis is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle Cloud EPM (EPBCS) ecosystem. This role serves as the strategic bridge between our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and our centralized Data Engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration of financial and operational data across our extensive enterprise.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end administration and continuous optimization of the Oracle Cloud EPM suite, designing and troubleshooting Essbase ASO/BSO cubes for large-scale operational scenario planning, and collaborating with Data Engineering to define technical requirements for integrating non-financial KPIs into financial forecasting models. The role also involves troubleshooting integration workflows, optimizing system performance, and managing the lifecycle of over 5,000 operational locations to ensure synchronization across ERP, CRM, and EPM environments.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Oracle EPM (EPBCS/Planning) system administration and development within a high-growth, multi-location enterprise. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Proficiency in SQL and Python, strong knowledge of data integration tools, and the ability to bridge technical data architecture with functional financial insights are essential. Experience partnering with senior leadership and the capability to translate financial concepts into tactical execution plans for IT are also important.
