Financial Technology Partners (FT Partners) is seeking a FinTech Research Analyst to join their elite investment banking team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the production of industry-leading research publications, including reports on sector trends, capital raising, IPOs, and M&A activities. The analyst will collaborate closely with Business Development and Investment Banking teams, gaining significant exposure to senior professionals and innovative financial technology companies.

Key responsibilities include researching key FinTech sectors, regions, and significant M&A and private company capital raising transactions. The analyst will create high-quality reports utilizing both written and graphical presentation skills, maintain and manage a proprietary database of FinTech companies and transactions, and develop key analyses using the data. Additionally, the role involves creating and assisting in the execution of marketing strategies for the firm and facilitating dialogue with key internal stakeholders and external CEO/CFO/Board level contacts.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience, with degrees in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred. A GPA of 3.30 or greater is required, along with a strong interest in finance, consulting, research, and FinTech. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and high attention to detail are essential. U.S. work authorization is required, as FT Partners will not sponsor applicants for work visas at application or in the future.
