Global Strategy Manager
The Global Strategy Manager will be an integral part of a dedicated strategy and innovation team at WPP Media, collaborating closely with the Global Strategy Director to develop global media strategies for Unilever Foods. This role involves working with local markets to guide implementation and share best practices, ensuring cohesive and effective media campaigns across regions.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary day-to-day strategy interface for Unilever's Global Brand and Media Teams, as well as relevant creative agency partners. The manager will support the Global Strategy Director in crafting global communication strategies, collaborating with local markets to inform creative development and media implementation. Additionally, the role involves working with specialist functions within Mindshare Worldwide, particularly insights and innovation specialists, to create compelling audience and channel insights.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in local, regional, and global media roles for high-profile global brands, producing industry-leading and award-winning campaigns. Familiarity with Mindshare's skills and services, as well as an understanding of research tools—including proprietary tools, syndicated services, and publicly available data—is essential. Strong communication, presentation, and team-building skills are required, and proficiency in a second language is preferred due to the global nature of Unilever's business.
