Graduate Software Engineer (2026)

IMC is seeking Graduate Software Engineers to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands, starting in February or August 2026. As a global trading firm, IMC leverages cutting-edge technology to provide liquidity in financial markets. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and traders, contributing to the development of our trading platform and software stack.

In this position, you will develop advanced algorithms and support the enhancement of our trading systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Collaboration with traders, quantitative researchers, and hardware engineers will be essential to improve system performance and functionality.

Candidates should be in their final year of study in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2026. Proficiency in C++ or Java is required, and experience with Python is preferred. A solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, along with strong analytical skills and a desire to solve complex problems programmatically, is essential. While prior knowledge of financial markets is not required, a genuine interest is beneficial.
