Graduate Trader (2026)

IMC is seeking ambitious individuals to join our Graduate Trader program in 2026. This role offers a comprehensive six-week Global Trainee Programme, where participants will collaborate with experienced engineers and traders across our global offices. The program is designed to deepen your understanding of trading, financial markets, IMC's proprietary strategies, and trading systems. Post-training, you'll receive mentorship from seasoned traders and be placed in a role that aligns with your strengths and interests, ensuring a dynamic start to your trading career.

As a Graduate Trader, you will engage in trading a diverse range of financial instruments, develop and refine trading strategies and algorithms, and manage the execution and risk of complex trading portfolios. Collaboration with IMC's technology developers and engineers is integral, fostering an environment where innovative ideas are valued and recognized.

Candidates should be in their final year of study in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field, aiming to commence full-time employment in February or August 2026. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or R is advantageous. Exceptional analytical skills and a genuine interest in financial markets are essential, though prior experience in trading is not required.
