Modulr is seeking a Growth Product Manager to lead the Activation Squad, focusing on optimizing the onboarding journey for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from initial sign-up to realizing first value. This role is pivotal in ensuring that customers can quickly and confidently integrate Modulr's payment automation solutions into their operations. As a key player in the team, the Growth Product Manager will contribute to shaping the company's product and activation strategies as Modulr continues to scale.

The primary responsibilities include owning activation key performance indicators (KPIs) such as onboarding completion rates, first transaction rates, and early customer engagement. The role involves continuous customer discovery, data analysis to identify friction points, and prioritizing high-impact improvements. The Growth Product Manager will define hypotheses and run experiments aimed at improving conversion rates and reducing time-to-value. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential to define high-quality epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Additionally, the role requires cross-functional collaboration to implement end-to-end product improvements.

Candidates should have proven experience as a product manager, ideally within B2B fintech, SaaS, or payments sectors. Experience in improving onboarding, activation, or conversion metrics through data-driven experimentation is crucial. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with product analytics tools are required, along with clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams. A curious mindset and a drive to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance product offerings are also important.

Modulr offers a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in a Company Share Option Plan (CSOP), an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance, and a flexible benefits allowance of £1,000 for options such as private medical insurance and gym memberships. Employees have access to a wellbeing app providing confidential support, 33 days of annual leave including bank holidays plus a birthday off, and learning opportunities through the ModStart onboarding program and ongoing development channels. Additional perks include company-wide events and a bike-to-work scheme.

The company fosters a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture where employees are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work. Modulr values collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to delivering reliable payment automation solutions that streamline money movement for businesses.
