GTM Engineer
The GTM Engineer at HopSkipDrive plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's go-to-market (GTM) operations by developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure that supports Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. As part of the lean, high-impact Revenue Operations team, this position focuses on building scalable systems and intelligent workflows to drive growth and efficiency. HopSkipDrive, a Series D company, is a leader in safe, fast, and simple supplemental student transportation, connecting children to highly-vetted caregivers through its marketplace and addressing transportation challenges for schools and districts nationwide.
In this role, the GTM Engineer will be responsible for administering and optimizing Salesforce, ensuring it serves as a reliable single source of truth. They will manage the entire GTM tool stack, including maintaining an inventory of tools, managing vendor relationships, and providing data-driven recommendations for tool consolidation or expansion. The position also involves designing and deploying new workflows and cross-system integrations to eliminate manual processes and increase operational velocity across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. A key aspect of the role is championing an AI-first approach to GTM operations by identifying opportunities to leverage large language models (LLMs), automation agents, and intelligent enrichment pipelines to reduce manual effort and provide actionable insights for revenue teams. Additionally, the GTM Engineer will build and maintain integrations across the GTM stack, document system configurations and workflows, and collaborate with Revenue Operations leadership and GTM stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in a GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations Systems, or Salesforce Administration role within a high-growth B2B SaaS or marketplace environment. A Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on expertise is required, with deep proficiency in flows, validation rules, permission sets, custom objects, and reporting. Demonstrated experience incorporating LLMs, automation agents, or AI-assisted enrichment tools into GTM workflows is essential. Hands-on experience managing a SaaS GTM tool stack, including renewal tracking, vendor evaluation, and ROI analysis across tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach, Gong, Spiff, or similar platforms, is also necessary. Strong technical aptitude for system integrations, including experience connecting tools via REST APIs, native connectors, or iPaaS platforms such as Zapier, Make, or Workato, is important. A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and the ability to build automations, debug integrations, and work with APIs are crucial for success in this role.
The compensation for this fully remote position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, with additional equity stock options.
