Head of Addressable Media
The Head of Addressable Media at WPP Media is responsible for developing and scaling next-generation, data-driven media solutions in the Korean market. This leadership role focuses on establishing and executing the Addressable Media strategy, particularly in Addressable TV and Addressable Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), to drive the adoption of innovative advertising solutions and business growth. The position reports to the Head of Solutions and collaborates closely with global teams to introduce and expand global solutions within Korea.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the Addressable Media strategy tailored for the Korean market, developing advertising solutions based on Addressable TV and Addressable Digital DOOH, and localizing global Addressable Media strategies. The role also involves planning and designing new Addressable Media ad products, building media solutions grounded in programmatic buying, and developing data- and technology-driven ad products. Additionally, the Head of Addressable Media is tasked with identifying new business opportunities, building collaborations with advertisers, IPTV/CTV operators, DOOH media owners, and AdTech partners, and co-developing solutions to expand the ecosystem.
The ideal candidate possesses 12–15+ years of experience in advertising, media, or the AdTech industry, with expertise in programmatic and/or addressable media, including Addressable TV and/or Addressable Digital DOOH. Experience in developing new advertising solutions or media products, business development, and partnership building is essential. A strong understanding of data-driven advertising and media strategy is required, and Korean communication skills are considered optional but beneficial.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Seoul, South Korea, and involves collaboration with key stakeholders such as media planners, suppliers, and AdTech companies.
