Head of Data
As the Head of Data at Talon.One, you will lead the company's data strategy, overseeing a team dedicated to building a world-class data platform that bridges technical engineering and business value. Your role involves evolving the data function into a strategic asset, ensuring the data infrastructure scales with the global client base and enhances decision-making and innovation.
Key responsibilities include owning the data roadmap, transitioning the team from a hands-on setup phase to a scalable function supporting the entire organization. You will manage and mentor a cross-functional team, partner with the Post-Sales team to automate and enhance quarterly business reviews, oversee the development of a unified data platform integrating various workloads, and establish standards for data governance and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of leadership experience managing data teams, particularly through scale-up phases in multiple companies. A deep understanding of B2B SaaS business models, experience with cross-functional stakeholders, and a strong grasp of data lakes, streaming architectures, and modern data warehouse concepts are essential. While this is not a hands-on role, the ability to translate complex data infrastructure challenges into business impact for non-technical leadership is crucial.
