Head of Industry - Banking
As the Head of Industry - Banking at Celonis, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our Banking Industry Practice. This role involves collaborating with go-to-market, product, AI, and engineering teams, as well as external partners, to develop and scale software solutions central to banking industry processes. You will serve as the primary representative of our banking sector both internally and externally, ensuring the success of our global community of clients, employees, and partners.
Key responsibilities include defining the vision for the Banking Industry Practice and translating it into a strategic plan with prioritized actions. You will build and lead a cross-functional team encompassing Value Engineering, Sales, and AI Builders, establishing processes and structures to enhance our impact within the industry. Working closely with customers, you will align our banking solutions with their business strategies and collaborate with leaders from Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market organizations to inform future product development based on customer feedback. Additionally, you will identify and package scalable use cases across the Celonis platform to drive innovation and expand our offerings, while enabling internal teams and partners to effectively position and deploy banking solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading cross-functional teams to develop software solutions addressing strategic banking challenges. A high degree of entrepreneurship is essential, with experience in building from the ground up in a dynamic environment. Excellence in public speaking and external presentations is required, along with demonstrated experience in developing enterprise software solutions that solve real-world problems. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for a diverse range of stakeholders, from board members to end users.
The base salary range for this position in New York is $195,000 to $229,000 USD, based on a full-time schedule. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus or commission, equity, and benefits such as health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Please note that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
