Head of Legal & Compliance (Global Crypto Exchange)

The Head of Legal & Compliance will lead the legal and compliance functions for a global cryptocurrency exchange, ensuring adherence to international regulations and internal policies. This role involves providing strategic legal counsel, managing high-value contracts, and overseeing regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts and user agreements in both Mandarin and English, ensuring compliance with global legal standards, coordinating with international legal teams, and proactively mitigating legal risks. Candidates must have over 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a legal leadership role within a major crypto exchange or fintech firm. Native or professional-grade fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential. Admission to the bar in Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA, or an EU member state is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of international regulatory frameworks governing digital assets, AML/CTF, and securities laws.
