Head of Legal

As the Head of Legal at our crypto-native investment fund, you will lead the development and maintenance of our global fund structures, ensuring they are optimized for both institutional and retail participation in the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape. This role places you at the forefront of bridging traditional finance with blockchain technology, providing strategic legal guidance to our investment activities.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and overseeing investment vehicles across multiple jurisdictions, developing a comprehensive compliance framework addressing AML/KYC requirements and securities laws, managing the legal aspects of deal flows from initial agreements to complex DeFi-native investment strategies, and serving as the main liaison with regulators and external counsel to stay ahead of legislative changes impacting digital asset management.

We are seeking a candidate with over 10 years of legal experience, including significant time in investment management sectors such as hedge funds, private equity, or venture capital. A proven track record in a senior legal role within the crypto or Web3 sector is essential, along with deep knowledge of global securities laws and the regulatory landscape for DeFi. A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and active bar membership in good standing are required, as well as experience with cross-border tax structuring and offshore fund jurisdictions.
