Healthcare Data Analyst
Midi Health is a rapidly growing virtual clinic dedicated to women's midlife health, offering insurance-covered care for perimenopause, menopause, and other hormone-related challenges. The Healthcare Data Analyst will join a dynamic team focused on enhancing patient outcomes through data-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with the Research Director and various internal departments to analyze healthcare data and support strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities include processing and preparing healthcare data by performing quality checks, validation, and cleaning to ensure data integrity. The analyst will execute a high volume of clinical and health economic analyses, transforming data into actionable insights for business needs. Additionally, the role involves consulting with internal decision-makers to understand reporting requirements and rapidly prototyping analytical models to explore various scenarios.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information science, business, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Proficiency in working with large commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid claims databases is required, along with experience in medical claims, billing practices, and health insurance requirements. Fluency in R, SQL, Python, and familiarity with cloud databases like Snowflake or Databricks are essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects within prescribed timelines and possess a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, depending on experience. Midi Health offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and benefits.
