Hoofdwerkvoorbereider (Oosterweel project - Antwerpen)
As the Lead Work Planner for the Oosterweel project in Antwerp, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion. This role involves managing a team of work planners, developing implementation methods, and ensuring that project needs and priorities are consistently met. You will coordinate the overall project schedule, monitor the design process, and provide feedback on design plans. Additionally, you will support the procurement team by preparing necessary requests for proposals, evaluating offers, and overseeing the documentation from subcontractors and suppliers post-contract. Responsibilities also include risk management, requirements verification, and deviation management. Collaboration with the design manager and project execution leader is essential, and you will report to the area manager.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering with a minimum of five years of experience. Fluency in Dutch is required, and proficiency in English is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, teamwork capabilities, and a proactive approach to management, negotiation, communication, delegation, and prioritization are essential. Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities are highly valued, along with a commitment to collaboration and achieving common goals.
