HR Business Partner (Contract) NY

KBRA, a leading global credit rating agency, is seeking a Temporary HR Business Partner to support its Human Resources team for approximately six months. This role is designed to provide hands-on assistance across key HR processes, including performance management cycles, employee relations support, immigration case coordination, and HR systems administration. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with members of the HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of core HR functions and deliver timely support to managers and employees across the firm.

The primary responsibilities of this position encompass supporting the execution of mid-year and annual performance management cycles, assisting managers with performance review processes and documentation, and providing coaching on performance management best practices. Additionally, the role involves supporting employee relations matters, including documentation, investigations, and follow-up actions, as well as coordinating with immigration counsel on active visa cases and maintaining accurate records of immigration matters. The HR Business Partner will also partner with HR Operations to optimize the HRIS system, assist with updates to organizational structures, and support data validation to ensure HR data integrity.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least eight years of HR experience, including three to five years in a strategic HR Business Partner role. Experience supporting performance management cycles and handling employee relations matters is essential. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and high attention to detail are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with HRIS systems are also necessary. Experience in financial services or professional services environments is considered a plus.
