HRIS Payroll Analyst
The HRIS Payroll Analyst at Verra Mobility serves as the functional system owner for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules. This role is integral to ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations within the company. Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility solutions, dedicated to developing technology-enabled services that enhance safety and ease in transportation systems.
Key responsibilities include administering and optimizing the Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules. The analyst will configure earnings, deductions, pay groups, time codes, accruals, overtime rules, and pay policies. Additionally, maintaining payroll-related business processes, security roles, and integrations, as well as monitoring inbound and outbound integrations to ensure data accuracy and system stability, are essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and supporting Workday Time Tracking and Absence. A strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and labor laws is required. Experience in supporting audits, maintaining internal controls, and proficiency in Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite preferred) are also necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
