HRIS Team Lead
The HRIS Team Lead at IMC is responsible for overseeing the company's HR technology function, emphasizing people leadership, technical excellence, and global team direction. This role combines deep HRIS and Workday expertise with inspiring leadership and clear decision-making. The successful candidate will lead a globally distributed HRIS team, set priorities, and ensure that HR systems are reliable, scalable, and well-managed. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping how HR technology supports both business and employee experience while building a high-performing team across regions.
Key responsibilities include leading, inspiring, and developing a globally distributed HRIS team, creating a strong sense of purpose and shared accountability. The role involves building a cohesive team culture across regions through trust, inclusion, and consistent leadership. Additionally, the HRIS Team Lead will own the HRIS strategy aligned to People and business priorities, translate HR and business strategy into measurable HRIS outcomes, and provide strategic direction for architectural, AI, and automation initiatives. The position also entails ensuring the stability, scalability, and effectiveness of the HR technology ecosystem, including platforms like Workday, Greenhouse, Glint, and Reflektive.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience, along with over 8 years of progressive HRIS experience, including more than 5 years with Workday. A minimum of 3 years leading technical teams, ideally in a global or multi-region context, is required. Hands-on experience configuring Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Talent & Performance is essential. The candidate should have experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse) and HR technology ecosystem management, as well as a proven ability to manage multiple HR platforms and their integrations. Strong understanding of HR data, reporting, and data quality principles, along with experience working in agile or sprint-based delivery environments, is also necessary.
