HSE Advisor Wallonie

As an HSE Advisor at BESIX, you will bridge the gap between policy and practice, working closely with construction teams to ensure projects in Wallonia are executed safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities include building strong relationships with site teams, coaching them on safety matters, and translating HSE policies into actionable plans such as HSE plans, risk analyses, emergency plans, and conducting regular inspections. You will also lead incident investigations, propose improvement actions, organize training sessions, and facilitate corporate HSE programs like Safety Days and Behavioral Based Safety initiatives. Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager and project leaders, you will be supported by an experienced team of HSE colleagues.

The ideal candidate holds at least a Prevention Advisor Level 2 certification or is in the process of obtaining it, possesses experience in HSE with a strong affinity for construction, and is motivated to enhance safety and well-being on-site. Fluency in French and a professional level of English are required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus. Flexibility to work on various sites in Wallonia, adaptability to changing schedules, and the ability to work autonomously within a multicultural team are essential.
