HSE Business Partner & HQ HSE Manager (BELUX)
BESIX Group is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner & HQ HSE Manager to join their Belgium-Luxembourg Business Unit. This role involves leading health, safety, and environmental initiatives within the company, collaborating closely with HSE advisors and environmental coordinators to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety.
Key responsibilities include leading specific HSE projects, serving as an independent trainer for BESIX core programs such as BE SAFE and IOSH Managing Safely & Working Safely, and coordinating health and safety matters at the Head Office. The role also involves managing relationships with external prevention services, performing site visits, facilitating safety inductions, and conducting Performance Rating Tool assessments.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Health and Safety or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years' experience as a prevention adviser, including at least 5 years in construction HSE roles. A Diploma Prevention Adviser (by Belgian law) minimum level 2 is mandatory, with level 1 preferred. Fluency in English and Dutch (or French) is required, and additional languages are beneficial. Strong communication skills, proficiency with digital solutions and tools, and experience in various sectors such as energy, public, private, and industry are preferred.
