HSE Coordinator

BESIX Unitec is seeking an HSE Coordinator to join the TM Ocotech team, focusing on high-quality infrastructure solutions. The role involves developing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures and systems for activities such as fire detection, safety systems, climate control, lighting, ventilation, and camera installations. The HSE Coordinator will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal guidelines.

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the HSE framework within TM Ocotech, supporting all stakeholders in applying safety requirements, coaching and raising awareness among employees and supervisors, conducting safety inspections, assisting with client audits, participating in site meetings, proposing and monitoring corrective and preventive measures, and systematically investigating incidents to drive structural improvements. The HSE Coordinator will report directly to the HSE Manager and align actions and priorities within the HSE team.

Candidates should possess a Level 2 Prevention Advisor certificate and have initial experience in HSE and/or technical project coordination. A background or demonstrated affinity with electromechanics is advantageous but not mandatory. The role requires organizational precision, a strong operational mindset, initiative within clear agreements, a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn, and the ability to promote safety positively and constructively across all organizational levels. Proficiency in Dutch and a good command of English are essential.
