Immigration Attorney
The United Firm is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic team in Orange County, CA. As an Immigration Attorney, you will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney and collaborate closely with a team of experienced attorneys and legal assistants.
In this position, you will develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony. Your responsibilities will include representing both non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. You will manage a diverse caseload, conduct intakes with detained individuals, and prepare various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions. Additionally, you will review and adjust immigration application packets, present to law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes, and provide legal analyses to determine case benefits.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in immigration law and be a team player open to collaboration and strategic planning with fellow associates. While bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, it is not required. Strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record of advancing legal cases, and the ability to manage a caseload effectively are essential. Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, detained cases, citizenship, and other USCIS applications is highly desirable. Familiarity with case management software is also preferred.
The United Firm offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $115,000, along with medical, dental, and vision insurance.
