Indirect Procurement Director
The Director of Indirect Procurement at Verra Mobility will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of the company's indirect procurement function across all corporate spend categories. Reporting to the Chief Legal and Transformation Officer, this role is pivotal in driving cost optimization, strengthening supplier partnerships, and establishing scalable procurement processes that support the organization's broader business and transformation goals.
Key responsibilities include building and overseeing the indirect procurement function to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, policies, and compliance requirements. The director will develop and execute category strategies across indirect spend areas such as IT, professional services, facilities, marketing, travel, and HR, aiming to drive cost efficiency and value realization. Additionally, the role involves leading complex sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management for high-value and high-risk categories.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience leading indirect procurement functions within a complex corporate environment is required. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation across indirect spend categories, along with deep expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement governance.
