Influencer Marketing Strategist
The Influencer Marketing Strategist at WPP Media is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing cutting-edge influencer marketing strategies for leading brands within the group, integrating them innovatively into the global media ecosystem. This role is part of the Strategy Relevance & Comms team, contributing to WPP Media's mission of creating limitless growth opportunities through the best platforms, people, and partners.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing global strategies for brand ambassadors and influencers, identifying the most relevant influencers for each brand, and managing relationships with selected profiles. The strategist will also create innovative projects that reinforce brand values on social media, collaborate with account, planning, and creative teams to integrate influencer strategies into overall communication plans, and produce comprehensive reports measuring ROI and full-funnel KPIs. Additionally, the role involves supporting strategic proposals for new clients and staying updated on the latest social media trends.
Candidates should have a minimum of four years of demonstrable experience managing influencer campaigns in the advertising sector, either at a media agency or advertiser. Proficiency in social media KPIs across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch, along with knowledge of paid media campaigns, is essential. Familiarity with analysis and profile audit tools such as Primetag, Creator IQ, and GOAT is required. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for report creation, strategic and analytical capabilities to design proposals aligned with client communication strategies, and understanding of the media ecosystem are also necessary. Excellent management, negotiation, and client presentation skills, along with fluency in English for international team interactions, are expected. A degree in Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
