Information Security Engineer (Remote) (Position located in Brazil)
The Information Security Engineer at KnowBe4 is responsible for ensuring the safety of information systems, services, and networks. This role involves leading security assessments, implementing and managing security tools, and assisting the information security team with various projects and activities. Key responsibilities include assessing information security processes and designing more efficient methods using available tools, including generative AI. The engineer will oversee the implementation and management of information security applications, such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), and email security. Additionally, the role involves optimizing monitoring solutions to detect potential security issues and conducting security, vulnerability, and risk assessments across services, cloud, and applications. Participation in all aspects of incident response is also required.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in information security, information systems, or a related field, with relevant industry certifications preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in information security or a related role is required. Practical knowledge in information security, IT, internet concepts, and business applications is essential. Experience with security applications such as EDR, MDM, email security, and cloud solutions is beneficial. Familiarity with frameworks like OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK, as well as proficiency in various operating systems and scripting, is also desired.
