Information Systems Engineer
The Information Systems Engineer at Conga is responsible for deploying and supporting IT infrastructure, systems, application software, and network services. This role provides complex technical support to ensure the availability and functionality of applications, infrastructure, and systems. The position involves problem diagnosis and resolution, including requirement analysis, testing, integration, and management of components and applications. The engineer may also specialize in specific areas, becoming a subject matter expert with greater responsibility and focus in those domains.
Key responsibilities include proactively maintaining and managing technologies and platforms within the assigned area, designing and implementing solutions as required, and providing support and escalation in response to issues, potentially including out-of-business hours support. The role also involves accurately logging and documenting changes and work, assessing the impact of work and changes to ensure minimal disruption, and ensuring compliance with internal IT strategy, security, and regulatory standards. Additionally, the engineer assists with ad-hoc or project tasks, maintains equipment and software inventory, and ensures adherence to policies and processes while balancing priorities based on business impact.
The ideal candidate possesses over three years of experience or relevant technical training in areas such as identity management (permissions, policies, authentication/replication), collaboration tools (email, messaging), Microsoft Server and Windows OS, networking skills (VPN, DHCP, wireless), and device management tools (Intune, Jamf, patch management). Experience working within an enterprise environment with remote, disparate users on a global scale is essential. Familiarity with Apple MAC devices, understanding of IP networking related to local and wide area networks, and experience with cloud platforms like Azure, Microsoft 365, and AWS are also important. Strong troubleshooting skills, logical thinking, and effective communication abilities are critical for success in this role.
