In this role, the adjuster will handle a full docket of pre-litigation injury files, guiding each case from intake through signed release with minimal attorney intervention. Responsibilities include analyzing coverage, drafting demands, negotiating directly with adjusters to meet or exceed settlement and cycle-time targets, and serving as the primary contact for clients and medical providers. Additionally, the adjuster will manage medical records, track deadlines, and maintain organized digital files to ensure efficient case progression.
Candidates should have at least two years of bodily-injury insurance claims adjusting experience, handling full liability evaluation and settlements of fifty thousand dollars or more, or at least five years of plaintiff-side personal injury case management in a high-volume firm. A solid understanding of medical terminology, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and familiarity with case management platforms like Filevine are essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective client and provider interactions.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, complemented by an uncapped commission plan averaging $1,000 to $3,000 monthly.
