Experian is seeking an Internal Auditor - IT to join our Data Management department. This role involves planning and executing risk-based internal audits within our IT environment, providing independent evaluations of business risks under the guidance of the Audit Lead and Head of Internal Audit. The position is hybrid, combining on-site and remote work, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a global data and technology company operating across various markets.

Key responsibilities include assessing and testing controls under risk-based audit plans, managing and executing audit fieldwork, documenting work papers, advising management on identified gaps, and tracking actionable items. The role also involves ensuring timely completion of assigned audits, monitoring reported issues, suggesting improvements to existing processes and systems, evaluating IT general and application controls, handling special assignments and investigations, and participating in audits with a focus on IT.

Candidates should possess a graduate or university degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering, with 1 to 3 years of experience in IT internal audit or related fields, including exposure to information security, technology, and operational risk. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application development lifecycle, cybersecurity, cloud security, applications and web security, network and endpoint protection is essential. Familiarity with IT governance and security standards such as NIST, ISO27001, COBIT, PCIDSS, and DPDPA is required. Strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to interpret data and make consultative recommendations, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.
