Internal Communications Lead (Remote)
The Internal Communications Lead at ezCater is a pivotal role within the Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Communications and Content. This position is responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that keep the company's 800+ employees across 40+ states informed and connected. As a remote-hybrid organization, effective internal communication is essential to align the team with company priorities and culture.
Key responsibilities include managing an internal communications editorial calendar, delivering messages related to business strategy, culture, and people priorities through various channels such as company meetings, emails, Slack, events, and Confluence. The role involves creating innovative communication methods to engage employees, building strong relationships across departments to uncover and share inspiring stories, and ensuring that information reaches all team members effectively.
The ideal candidate possesses over seven years of communications experience, preferably in leading internal communications for remote or hybrid companies. They should have the ability to translate business goals into compelling communication strategies, excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, experience working with senior leaders, and the agility to thrive in a dynamic environment. Additionally, the role requires the ability to travel up to five days per quarter for team gatherings and events.
The total target cash compensation for this position, including base salary and bonus target, ranges from $129,000 to $164,000 annually.
