Inventory and Logistics Technician

The Inventory and Logistics Technician role is integral to this mission, focusing on optimizing material flow and inventory management to support efficient rocket testing and assembly processes.
In this position, you will be responsible for setting up new inventory locations, assembling racks, labeling bins, and maintaining stock levels. Regular stock audits will be conducted to ensure accurate inventory quantities. Collaboration with engineers is essential to keep inventory organized and ensure critical items are readily available. You will also work with vendors to place orders, prepare shipments, receive deliveries, and perform various administrative tasks on-site. Supporting Test Engineers and technicians to enhance testing efficiency and safety is a key aspect of the role. Safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment is required.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least two years of experience in a warehouse or inventory role, including two years of forklift operation. Proficiency with hand and power tools, excellent computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted are necessary. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for local pickups are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. The role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
