IT Compliance Analyst

The IT Compliance Analyst at Verra Mobility is responsible for ensuring that compliance frameworks are effectively designed, managed, and assessed to minimize overall compliance risk within the organization. This role involves continuous monitoring and driving audit actions to maintain adherence to relevant compliance standards. The analyst will work closely with Internal Audit and key stakeholders to align on all IT regulatory compliance matters.

Key responsibilities include leading assigned audit programs, serving as the primary subject matter expert, and providing backup support for other audit programs as needed. The analyst will develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's audit and compliance programs, such as SOX, PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials+, and FedRAMP. Duties encompass scoping audits, scheduling activities, coordinating document requests, leading walkthroughs, and collaborating with control owners on audit remediation efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, extensive PCI-DSS audit and continuous monitoring experience, and SOX working experience. Additional qualifications include experience performing audits, leading control walkthroughs, interviewing stakeholders, and gathering and documenting relevant information. The candidate should be coachable, willing to learn, and capable of taking initiative to drive results. The position requires local residency and the ability to work a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.
