Jr. Manager, Corporate & Label Communications, US Latin
The Jr. Manager, Corporate & Label Communications, US Latin, will support the execution of internal and external communications initiatives for Sony Music Latin. This role is integral to advancing corporate communications efforts and contributing to publicity campaigns across a diverse roster of artists and label projects. The position reports to the Vice President of Corporate & Label Communications for Sony Music Latin Iberia.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of internal communications strategies, drafting and distributing content such as newsletters and announcements, and supporting senior leadership messaging. The role also involves ensuring consistency and alignment of messaging across departments and platforms, as well as providing support during crisis communications situations. Additionally, the Jr. Manager will support and execute publicity campaigns for artist releases and label initiatives, build and maintain media relationships, and coordinate press opportunities and events.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, and possesses 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required, along with strong writing and editing skills in both languages. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a proactive and resourceful attitude. Familiarity with the media landscape, music trends, and cultural conversations is advantageous.
