Junior Property Manager
Groma is seeking a Junior Property Manager to support the launch and growth of its Providence, Rhode Island portfolio. This individual will serve as the first team member based in Providence, acting as a local extension of the Boston-based Property Operations team. The role involves implementing established property management systems in a new market, with regular coordination and structured reporting to Boston leadership.
Key responsibilities include supporting property inspections, acquisition due diligence, vendor sourcing, and onboarding newly acquired residential properties. As the Providence portfolio expands, the role will evolve to encompass full day-to-day property management and resident services. The Junior Property Manager will also oversee facility management, ensuring properties are maintained to high standards and comply with applicable codes and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in property management or a related real estate operations field. Strong organizational, documentation, and task management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Comfort working independently while maintaining structured communication with remote leadership is crucial. Knowledge of Rhode Island landlord-tenant law is preferred, and the ability to coordinate vendors and cross-functional teams effectively is required. Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed is also necessary.
Groma offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 5% 401(k) match, fully covered high-quality health and dental insurance plans, fully covered commuter passes for various transportation modes, unlimited paid time off, 13 official company holidays, and one floating holiday to accommodate personal or cultural observances.
