KYC Operations Team Lead
Adyen, a leading Dutch financial technology company, is seeking a KYC Operations Team Lead to join their Madrid office. This role involves leading a team responsible for conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks on a global customer base. The team collaborates closely with commercial, compliance, and product departments to ensure adherence to compliance standards and provide an excellent customer experience.
As the KYC Operations Team Lead, you will define and communicate key objectives, goals, and service level agreements (SLAs) for your team. You will evaluate performance through metrics, track team progress, and present results to senior leadership. Additionally, you will coach, mentor, and manage team members, providing direct feedback, and recruit and onboard talented CDD/KYC Analysts to contribute to Adyen's growth.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of people management experience, preferably in Operations, Support, or Compliance. A basic understanding of KYC processes and best practices within FinTech, banking, payments, or other financial industries is essential. The candidate should be innovative, focused on problem-solving, and capable of improving operational processes through automation and efficiency measures. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to work on an international and global team are also required.
