Land /Marine Surveyor - GCC

The Land/Marine Surveyor role at BESIX is integral to the success of the company's marine and land projects across the GCC region. The surveyor will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure precise survey data underpins safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities include conducting land and marine surveys to establish accurate positions, distances, elevations, and boundaries. The surveyor will operate advanced equipment such as total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, echo sounders, and multibeam survey systems. Tasks also involve collecting and processing hydrographic and terrestrial data, preparing detailed technical reports, and ensuring all survey activities comply with regulatory and safety standards.

Candidates should possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, or a related field. The position is open to fresh graduates meeting the educational requirements. Essential skills include proficiency in mathematics, mapping, GPS, and GIS applications, as well as experience with CAD, GIS, and specialized survey or hydrographic processing software. A solid understanding of survey control, benchmarks, coordinate systems, and geodetic principles is required. Effective communication and teamwork skills are also essential.
