Lawyer, Technology and Digital (Cybersecurity)
Gilbert + Tobin, a leading Australian law firm with over 500 lawyers, is seeking a Lawyer to join its Technology and Digital (Cybersecurity) team in Perth. In this role, you will work closely with clients to navigate complex cybersecurity challenges, including incident response, governance, and compliance. You will also engage in matters related to critical infrastructure, privacy and big data, and artificial intelligence, providing comprehensive legal advice to support clients in their digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of post-admission experience, with a genuine interest in cybersecurity, privacy, AI, and emerging laws. Superior analytical, communication, and drafting skills are essential, along with commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively with clients. The role requires the capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
