The Legal Administrator role at Foot Anstey LLP is a pivotal position within the Conveyancing - Shared Services team, based in Taunton. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the conveyancing process, contributing significantly to the successful completion of property transactions. In this role, the Legal Administrator will provide efficient and reliable administrative and process support to the Conveyancing team. Key responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for client enquiries, supporting matter inception and administration by preparing confirmation of instruction letters, maintaining central records, and accurately setting up new clients and matters on systems. The role also involves ensuring quality, compliance, and procedural standards are met across all files, collating and completing due diligence in line with Anti Money Laundering regulations, and managing routine client communications to support compliant file opening and progression.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative or operational support role, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting. A commitment to working within quality, compliance, and process-driven environments is essential, along with strong IT skills and confidence in learning new systems and ways of working. A collaborative approach and strong team-working skills are also important. Availability to work daily in the Taunton office is required.
