SpaceX is seeking a Legal and Compliance Analyst to support its Starlink broadband internet business. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with global legal requirements related to law enforcement responses, cybersecurity, and data privacy. The position is based in Hawthorne, California, and requires on-site presence.

In this role, the analyst will assist in developing and executing processes to efficiently accept, assess, process, respond to, and record legal demands from law enforcement agencies. Additionally, the analyst will support Starlink's global compliance with privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, respond to privacy-related inquiries from customers, and provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders. The role also involves supporting other legal functions, including litigation, contract management, and general legal and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and have at least one year of experience related to law enforcement response, cybersecurity, or privacy legal issues. Preferred qualifications include three or more years of experience as a legal analyst or paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting supporting cybersecurity, privacy, law enforcement, or other legal/regulatory compliance. Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues facing telecommunications or internet service providers, particularly related to law enforcement response, privacy, and cybersecurity, is also preferred. Experience working directly with government agencies and regulators is advantageous.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for long-term incentives, such as company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses.
